How many times a day to you call daycare?
I called this morning at 115
I have been SO busy I havent called since! (Im about to though)
What about you?

DS isn't in daycare anymore, but when he went I'd only call if he didn't feel well and I wanted to check on him.
They would call me if they needed to tell me anything!!

around 2-3 times, once in the AM, the a round lunch and sometimes on my way to get him to give them a heads up

I only call if he maybe wasnt feeling the best or seemed off. It's just one provider with all the kids, so i dont want to make her run for the phone a lot.

DD has been in daycare for 7 months, I haven't called once. I've never felt a reason to. I feel totally comfortable with the center and I know they will call me if something is wrong.

When DS was in daycare, I rarely called. Only if I had instructions on medication/nebulizer and did not get to talk to the teacher directly.

when my daughter was a baby, I would call my IL's once a day (they watched her for the 1st year or so)
now she is at in home care and I do not call but she is also 19 months old

I used to call my MIL once a day, but now I don't (DD is 16 months).
MIL will call me at work when they're going out & about for the day, to let me know where they're heading out to though (I know that doesn't pertain to daycare though!)

We used to call 2x a day - once in the AM and once around 3.
We've been able to cut out the morning call - but no matter how badly I want to cut out the afternoon call - I still can't seem to break the habit yet

None, they have better things to do than answer the phone. If every mother called during the day to see how their children were, they wouldn't be spending enough time with the kids. If something was wrong, they would call me.

Landon isn't in a daycare center, but I call his babysitter (mo MIL, my grandma, my mom, my SIL, or my neighbor) twice a day. Once around 11:00am and once around 4pm.

My DD isn't in daycare now, but when she was, I would call everyday, once a day. I know firsthand, they don't mind the phone calls, at her place & I don't think it should ever be questioned how many times you call. It is your child & if you want to call everyday, it's fine. I don't think it takes much of their time for a quick call & when they are busy, they have asked me to call back - no problem.
