How many times a week can I give my toddler...
a hotdog to eat. He really likes them and I know it's not the best thing to give them....

have you tried the all natural ones? there are definitely some better than others out there. Trader Joes has some good ones to choose from.

yall can flame me but my boys prob get a hotdog 3 to 4x sometimes more a week either for lunch or dinner. they like it. i let them eat everything and anything. they eat fruits and veggies with them everytime!

me either. whatever he will eat he can have. I do sometimes buy slightly healthier hot dogs though and I get them in the regular supermarket. I think they are called smart ones or something....they are turkey dogs and they are not half bad.

Try the organic chicken hotdogs. they're much healthier. Although i wouldn't call them healthy persay.
btw-every supermarket I've ever been in has had organic hot dogs, so they should be easy to come by.

I don't think 2x a week is too much. You just want to watch for nitrates. I'd try switching to Applegate Farms or something with no nitrates as PP suggested.

My son was eating them 2x at one time. He was obsessed with hot dogs. Now he doesn't eat them really-I guess he got sick of them. I know Hebrew National sells a healthier hot dog.
