How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
And how old are they?
I am DREADING nighttime training for DD. She's fully potty-trained for the daytime (and naptime when she does take a nap)...but we're still using Overnights for bedtime...I guess partially b/c I don't want to deal with her waking up (and therefore waking us up too) all night to pee.
She is a MASSIVE water drinker, and therefore massive peeing machine. It's so hard for us to cut off her liquid intake right before bed, since due to our schedules, she's eating dinner only an hour or 1.5 hours before bedtime.
Just trying to brace myself.
Oh, and while we're at it...how easy was it to overnight train them? She is 3.5 years.

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
Never for both
DS was in pull ups at night for about 6 months, the 3 weeks he was waking up dry. Then over the summer he started peeing in the bed 2-3 times a week and I was getting so annoyed so I made him wear pull up's again and he stopped after 1 accident. He had to wear them for a month. He has been dry every since.
DD was in pull up's at night for just a week, the week she was training. She some how put two and two together and only had 1 accident and that was because she didn't pee the night before and wet her bed around 6 am.
I try and limit the last drink before bed to an hour half before I tuck them in.

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
When Jordan potty trained she refused diapers at night from the get go. She has always gone to bed with a drink(water) because of bad reflux/coughing. She always wakes once a night to pee(from 2 yrs 9 months until now) she is 10 DD#2 is 2 1/2 and has only been trained for about 8 weeks or so. She goes to bed in a pull up but wakes up dry everyday, and never gets up during the night to pee. I just have not risked underwear at bed yet. She drinks until about an hour before bed and pees right before bed.

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
DD has been daytime trained since June...nighttime we are still not there yet...she is such a heavy sleeper and she does not wake up to go pee. I have tried to tell her again and again to yell for me or come and get me and she dosent. i have gotten her up throughout the night but she still pees a little. i have NO clue how i am going to train her at night

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
dd will be 3 in May. she gets up and asks to pee once in a blue moon at night. we try to cut her off from drinking by 6pm and make sure she pees right before bed. she drinks ALOT during the day. i've head a lot of people who put their child on the potty right before they (the parent) goes to bed. they kind of do it in their sleep. if you go to bed at 10 or 11 youwould do it then. it may help with the transition.

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
Noah has been potty trained for over a year, and has only been dry at night for maybe 3 months. He gets up to pee in the night every once in a while. Sometimes he gets up for a poo. He drinks before bedtime, but we do try to limit it.
I went out and bought those pads you put under the sheets and a washable duvet, so if he has an accident I leave a change of bedding nearby so I can change the bed quickly and easily.

Never.
I do put a pull-up on her, but it's always dry (we have just a few left, once they're done, no more pull-ups).
But, I do know how much C pees, so I'm sure you're dealing with a different situation!

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
Never. He has ben potty trained since June-ish. After he was trained, I was putting him in pull ups at night. After a few dry mornings I was thinking about going to underwear. One night I forgot the pull up and went to change his underwear to pullups after I put his pjs on and he begged me to wear underwear and has been fin ever since.
We eat dinner 6:30-7 and he goes to bed about 8:30 and he drinks a decent amount between then. He goes to the bathroom before bed and then when he wakes up. he has woken up to pee maybe 3 times at night since July.

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
I am no help because although DS has only been potty trained since early November, he has been waking up dry since he turned 2, even when he had diapers on and he takes a sippy cup to bed.
I still put him in a pull up at night, just because I have zero desire to have to change sheets at 3am.

Re: How many times does your potty-trained child pee overnight?
Never.
I really think it was just a lucky coincidence, but DD was dry at night beginning the night before we started to potty train her. She may have had 1 or 2 wet pull ups in a month and she woke up one other time that first month to go to the bathroom but never since. It's been 6+ months since we potty trained her.
ETA: She drinks a cup of milk with her dinner and a cup of water as she's going to bed each night and still no issue. (and now I pray that I didn't jinx myself since she's sleeping in a new bed tonight)
