How much are we supposed to drink every day?
Did anyone's dr tell them how much to drink each day? I feel like I am not drinking enough.

I drink two of the tall (1L) bottles of Poland Spring water a day. I also make sure I drink at least one glass of milk and a glass of juice.
Not sure whether or not I'm drinking enough either.

I found a website if you google it and it says you should drink atleast 2.5 liters a day if your pregnant or nursing.Hope that helps

I AIM to drink 60 oz of water a glass or two of milk and a glass of juice. Don't ALWAYS get all that water in though...don't really like it :(

Especially, when I am at work. I can't keep going to the bathroom.
But, I guess I just have to drink more....thirsty or not.

Did your Dr tell you that? If you saw my belly pics-I felt the same way but lots of posters assured me they knew people with singletons who were just as large as me. My Dr hasn't said anything at all. I will be 14 weeks on Friday. Some people's uterus just grows and comes out of the pelvis faster I guess

No, my dr didn't tell me that. It's my assumption to be honest (about my size). I haven't gained any weight yet though, which is odd, b/c I clearly look pg (I always have a tendency to gain weight there in the lower ut area).

Its funny because I alwys had a smaller waist. I am overweight to begin with but that was probably the smaller part of my body but there was no mistaking I was pregnant around 10 weeks. I also already got stretch marks near my pubic bone

2.5 liters!!! How man oz. is that?
Btrflygrl I think you meant 64 oz. = 1/2 gallon...isn't that right?

My doctor told me I must be drinking 64 ounces (1/2 gallon) a day. It definitely wasn't easy for me to get used to since I'm not a water drinker, but now I'm always thirsty and bought one of those big water containers and pour my water out of there so I make sure I'm drinking enough.

That's what I find odd. I could swear my dr told me 32 oz is the minimum I should aim for. Seemed low to me.
I probably drink about 48 oz a day b/c I know it should be more than I normally drink (which isn't a lot).
