We just bought our house and Slomin's quoted us $2.94 a gallon if we get an alarm system, $2.99 without for a one year contract. I called a couple of other places and received quotes for anywhere from 3.03 to 3.19 a gallon.

Slomins, locked in in September for $2.59/gallon...$99/contract on burner and hot water heater.

We just got oil yesterday at $3.01 a gallon from Alcus Fuel.

2.94 with Slomins and we got the alarm. The contract was $129 and it covers most things. I added the coverage on the oil tank for $17. It doesn't cover the water heater and the sales guy says they never cover it. I have a steam heat system and they cover 25% of the cost of replacement.
