How much cereal do you feed your DC and how many times a day??
My daughter is almost 6 months...how much should I be feeding her?? I know what I am doing might just be ok but I was just wondering if maybe its to much or to little....
she gets 2 tablespoons of cereal and a 6oz bottle in the morning and then the same at her dinner feeding...she also gets 2 tablespoons of the fruit or veggie of the week

DD is almost 7 months.
She has 3 tablespoons of oatmeal 2X day. She also has a a jar of stage 1 veggies once a day.
She has about 32 oz of forumula per day.

DS is 7.5 months. He has 3 bowls of cereal a day, 3 tablespoons for two of them and 2 tablespoons for the other.
He usually eats about two jars of fruit or veggies each day, sometimes a little more.

Kristina has a 6oz bottle in the morning when she wakes. She has changed her bottle ritual since I introduced cereal.
She eats a 5 tbsp meal of cereal, and about half a stage 2 jar of whatever we are on that week.
she then naps, and wakes and has a 6 oz bottle, and then naps then has another 5 tbsp of cereal, and w/e fruit again.
Then before bed, she'll have up to 4 oz of milk, and it's off to sleepytime for the night!
ETA: She is 5 months old now.

Also about 1-1/2 jars of food.

Do you also give Kristina some milk after her meal? I never hear anyone mention this when they start solids, but wanted to know if you end their meal with a bottle, and if so, how much?

DS is almost 7 months but this has been his routine for a few weeks now….
2nd feeding of the day – 4tbsp of cereal mixed with formula and 6oz bottle
3rd feeding of the day – 1 “jar” 2.5oz of fruit or veggie + 6oz bottle
5th feeding (final) of the day – ½ “jar” of fruit, 4 tbsp of cereal + 6oz bottle
1st & 4th feedings are 6oz bottle only
My ped told the recommended amounts were up to 2 jars of fruit/veggie, ½ cup of cereal and 24-36oz of formula a day.

Suzy... My normal routine is I pour out 5 oz of milk, and use that to mix her cereal with it. K doesn't like it liquidy, so I wind up using around 4 oz of cereal. If she wants something to "wash it down" I give her the remainder of the milk that's left over. She normally doesn't want anything more than that tho!

Mya is now eating 1.5-2tbls of cereal twice a day and one cube (about an oz) of veggies a day now...by looking at this i need to up what shes eating!
24-30oz of formula a day.

my dd isnt a fan of eating cereal off a spoon (she'll drink it out of the bottle tho). my MIL told me my husband was the same exact way. she'll eat stage 1 and stage 2 foods tho. and that she'll eat about a half a jar to a whole jar three times a day (breakfast/lunch/dinner). and she gets mini bottles in between if she's hungry. she will be 6 months on the 27th.
