How much did you spend per party favor? (2nd birthday party)
I am doing flip boxes from Do Me a Favor and have been collecting stuff in the $$ Store and Target for a few weeks now. I just looked at what I have and think I have spent $10-$12 per favor - DH isn't going to be happy! I think I have to return or consolidate - kids don't even need this stuff, right?
Just trying to gauge the average...

For What kind of Party?
For the kids parties usually about $4 a kid...but theres not many of them.
For the Christening its been about $3 PP. ( more people)

I screwed up b/c I already bought a bunch of random stuff and have tried to personalize each box so some kids have like 6 items, and some 2

Maybe I'm cheap but I try to keep it around $5.
ETA: I usually go over but no more than $10.

For DD 2nd birthday party I spend around $60-70 on cookie favors and candy favors. Also, I bought some whimsical bags from Target which was about $30 and put a DVD in each bag. Each DVD costs about $7-$9.
ETA: We had about 8 kids at her 2nd birthday party.

i guess it depends on how many children will be at the party.
for my DDs party we are estimating about 44 kids and will be spending about $5 per kid, but the favor will be something they can use or wear.
if there were less children i am sure we would be spending more

The favors were included where we had her party .
If I were doing them on my own. I'd probably spend about $7-10 depending on how many kids were coming.

$5-7.
$12 seems like a lot especially when you consider some people spend $20 on a gift for the birthday child.
