My growth sonos were always done between 31-32wks, however, I gave birth twice at 36w6d. Both were girls and both weighed 6lb3oz

My growth sono was at 30 weeks where it measured 4lbs, but I had an extra one at 34 bc of movement. And it was measuring 6lbs 12oz.

37w4d sono had DD weighing almost 8lbs.
She was born at 39w weighing 7lbs5oz.

I just had mine at 37 weeks and he measured 5lbs 13oz. I feel like thats on the small side :/ Didn't see the doctor but the sono tech said everything looked good/normal.

They're generally inaccurate. I wouldn't be concerned unless they said something.

There can be a pound swing in that. Don't worry. I had mine at 33 weeks I think. He was 3 lbs 4 oz. he was born at exactly 38 weeks at 7lbs 4 oz

I just had my growth sono today. I'm 32 weeks and the baby was weighing in at 4lbs 11oz, but the sono tec said that estimated weight can be +/- 13-16oz, which is a pretty big amount.

if it makes you feel any better I had a sono when I was admitted in labor. estimate 8lbs. she was born about 14 hrs later weighing 9lb 12oz.

I don't remember the exact numbers, but with DS, they warned that he was measuring in excess of 10lbs. He was born at 40w 3d at 8lbs 8oz.

It was estimated DD was exactly 8 lbs. She was born 40w5d weighing exactly 8 lbs. I wish My lotto numbers were that accurate!!

I had a growth Sono at 30 weeks and the baby was measuring 3lbs 14 oz. I have no idea I we're going to have another or not. Hopefully we can keep this LO cooking for another 7 weeks!

They also claimed I'd never make it to my due date - thinking I'd go early. I was induced 3 days after my due date.
Medicine is a science - but not always accurate!
Take it all with a grain of salt….sometimes they're right, and sometimes they're just not!

36-37 weeks DS was measuring around 7 1/2lbs. By week 40 they were measuring him at 8lbs 8oz. DS was born at 40w3days at 7lb 12oz.
ETA: I had GD so they were giving me sonos weekly towards the end.

I don't trust the growth sonos. Toward the end, they told me that DS was going to be 9 lbs and he was just under 8 lbs at birth.

i had my last sono at 33 weeks and she measured at 5lbs 14oz. thats pretty big i think. ill have another one next week at 36 weeks.
ETA...Ian measured 7lbs 1oz at my 37 sono with him and he was born 8lbs 15oz.

That's NOT on the small side at all. DS was born at 36 weeks at 5lbs 8oz and everyone said that was big for so early. Many babies I know born at full term are just over 6lbs. So you're looking at a baby that would be more like 7+ lbs, which is great!

Same thing! They even wanted to take him early because of it and I had slight preeclampsia.
I was induced at 41 weeks and he weighed 6.11
Could you imagine if they took him early like they wanted to???
