How much do drinks cost on a cruise?
I havent done a cruise in years.. we've been sticking to all-inclusives.
Would like to go back to cruising, but trying to price it all..
How much have you paid for a:
beer?
frosty cocktail?
other drink?
on a cruise?

LOTS.
I would say about $4 for beer/wine, $6-10 for a cocktail.

I only had a few drinks, but I think they also had "unlimited drinks"cards.

on Carnival, you can get a bucket-o-beer, you pay for 5 beers and you get 6 (I believe that is the right amount).

The unlimited drink card on our cruise was only for sodas and juices.
We had to pay for every single alcoholic beverage. We were a large group and tried to work out a deal with the cruise company for a flat price for an alcohol drink card but it didn't work.

Those are only for juice and soda.
See, it is pricey, but DH and I didn't think it was that much more than going out in NYC, IF it was more, KWIM?
Although, my cousins went on a cruise with 3 other couples last January and they had a $3k bar bill alone

We just got back from our cruise.
frosty yummy's and cocktails were $5.95
in a souivenier cup it was $8.95
Beers were about $4.95

I felt the same way.
I agree - it was the same as going out for the night, but it adds up when you are drinking every night on the cruise, rather than just once in a while when you go out at home.
