How much do I give for a graduation party

A family friend is having her two sons graduation party in their backyard. One son is graduating undergrad, another is graduating medical school. (The party is for both of them so I would have to give two seperate gifts) How much do I give?

Re: How much do I give for a graduation party

THats a tough one. How close is the friend?

Since its in a yard, that makes me say give less since much of it will truly be a gift (since they didnt pay a lot to have a party at a restaurant, etc).

What do you usually give for occasions and how many people are you bringing?

I would say $50 each to be safe, but maybe $75 each. But if you are bringing someone or more than just your self, maybe $100 each?

I am not sure, I need more details from you.

I would give them 100 each....sounds like they both have made huge accomplishments and deserve a little something for it.....

I agree.. I just went to BF step- daughter's High school graduation party and I gave $50 and a $20 gas card.

So for something like you are going to - I would give more.
