How much do you all pay for sitters..
My husband is starting a job ( YAY!!!!) so we will need a sitter for about a month or so until I can quit my job.. So I was wondering how much you all pay.. My friends sister is a student home for the summer and she wants to do it.. It will be 4 days a week for 6/7 hours a day..
We have no idea so if you can help please do.. thank you..

my sil pays her friend $20/day. of course that is cheap.

We pay our sitter $6.25/hr but pay my sister more like $8-10/hr when she babysits because it's usually just for a short time but she drives out to levittown from suffolk county so we want to make it worth her while.

We do home based daycare and pay $150/week ($30/day). She has 8-10 kids and also has 2 FT people. I honestly don't see how this lady makes money bc she provides breakfast, lunch, snack and milk for bottles.
I'm guessing $20-30/day would be appropriate
