We just got a quote and I want to make sure I am not getting ripped off

Are you talking about life insurance? It all depends on your family history and health. DH and I both have one million policies - mine cost $500 for the year, his cost $1500

No I mean an umbrella policy. It is extra coverage that goes over your car & homeowners policy
I recvd a quote tonight of $230 and it's seems high to me

I checked it out..I have the umbrella policy for both homes we own. Total $400 through State Farm.
