How much do you pay your high school baby-sitter?
My neighbors daughter is 16 and is baby sitting for me Saturday night. How much should I pay her an hour? I asked her how much she charges and she said whatever I want to pay her. Her mother told me $5/hr  but I thought that was kind of cheap.

I pay the girl I have to pick up and take home $8. I pay our niece who is a HS Sr. and drives herself here $10.
$5 is too little.

$5 is too little.
I figured $7 or $8 as well. She lives around the corner so she'll probably walk here but I'll drive her home.
