How much do you tip the carpet installers?
We're having the carpet installed on Monday (yippee! they had told me it was delayed until late March, but it came early!!!!) They're doing 3 bedrooms, the upstairs hallway and the stairs. What should I tip them?

it depends on how many people are installing, I would say 20 each person, I am cheap

Are you kidding.. I'd say you are generous. I tipped 20 bucks when I had the stair runner installed.
In my case, one guy did all the work and the other did diddly, just chatted on his cell the whole time.
Guess what he got?

2 men ripped out the old carpet and replaced with the new. DH gave them $20 total and told them to buy lunch for themselves.
