How much do you tip your hairdresser?
Hi Ladies,
If you don't mind sharing, how much do you tip your hairdresser?
What do you think is reasonable for a cut and highlight that cost about $125?
Thanks in advance. I think I may have undertipped.

20% but I will do less for a poor job. This is less common with hair and more with nails though.
So for 125, I would have tipped about 25 dollars.

Thanks for the replies. I wasn't too far off. I tipped her $20 but when I got home and thought about it, it seemed a little low.

I have 2 girls that do my hair, one does the highlights only and I tip her 20% of the highlights price and the other washes, cuts and dries my hair and she gets 25% of the cut price.
