how much does a cleaning lady cost?
i'm seriously thinking about this.
i would really like to see if my budget can support having someone come by and help me out.

Mine is exactly the same, and this was with some heavy negotiating!! We have a 4 bedroom, 3 full bath home.

We pay $60 every other week for our small ranch. She cleans 2 of our bedrooms (I don't have her do ours), our kitchen, den, living room, hall and 1 bathroom.

I pay 80 2x a month.
ETA -- I have a 3 br 2 bath split. It would be less, but we have 4 floors, so there are 3 staircases, and we have tons of windows. I am not completely happy with the job she does though. I may shop around for another one after the new year.

I pay a lot here in Brooklyn. I pay 80-100 bucks twice a month for my small two bedroom apartment. She works for about 6 hours or so.

it definitely depends on the size of your house and how often they come.
we have a 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath high ranch and our old cleaning lady would have charged 75 every other week (we used her in our condo, but when we moved after coming once she decided we lived too far). my new lady charges me 55 but she comes every week.

$85 every other week. Best money ever spent. Unfortunately she has the flu this week so we are the cleaning lady this week.

We pay $75 every other week--I really feel we are robbing her because we have a 5 BR/4.5BA house. But that's the price she set after seeing the house, so hey!  It's literally the best money I spend all month, I'm not sure I could live without her now!!

$85 weekly for a 3BR/2BA ranch and I don't have them do the dining room unless needed.
I have a service, so 3 people come for the cleanings, but I'm not impressed with their "work".  I really need to find myself a new service or person.
