How much does your 4 month old weigh??
The dr. didn't seem concerned but reading all of the 3 month old weights is getting me concerned.
At a 15 week appt John was 13lbs 1 oz and almost 26 inches long.
he is 55% for weight and 95% for height. Dr said it was fine but wow!! The dec mommy thread.. most of them are bigger than my DS!!! 
How much does your 4 month old weigh?
(DS will be 4 months in 5 days)
ETA: he was 8 14 at birth 22 inch long

He's just tall and thin! My DS is the same - he was about that size at 4 months.
At 5 months he started filling out a little bit. His 9 month foot pjs are too short so I have to get him 12month size!
He's about 15lbs right now.

My dd was 13lb 11oz and 25 inches-long and thin...and she was pretty big at birth(8lb4oz)...I think he is fine.

At his 4 month appointment Athan weighed 17 1/2 pounds and was 26 1/2 inches long.
DO NOT get worried about weight, height, percentiles or any of that stuff! Your son is healthy and your doctor is not concerned and neither should you!!!  Every child grows at a different pace.

we had our four month appt last night, DD weighed 13.5
ETA: she was 47% in weight

I'm the December mommy with the peanut - 12lbs, 2oz... The Dr said it was ok, he's in the 25% for weight.

DS was a little over 15 lbs at 4 months. He gained weight quickly the first 2-4 months, but then it even out. He's a peanut now at 15 months.
You shouldn't compare your DS to others. All babies grow at a different pace. It sounds like he's well within the normal range for height and weight. As long as he's on the chart, your doctor likely doesn't care where DS falls compared to others. What's more important is that your DS is consistently growing and gaining.

born at 8 lbs 6 ozs, 21 inches
 #1: 16lbs 12ozs, 25 inches
born at 8 lbs 7 oz, 19 1/2 inches
#2: 19lbs 3 ozs, 25.25 inches
born at 9 lbs 3.7 ozs, 18 1/2 inches

There is nothing to be concerned about. Every baby is different. When I went to the 3 month, I was concerned that he gained too much weight, so no matter what, us mommies worry about things when there is no need to worry:) There are so many factors that go into it..feeding, size of mommy and daddy, etc. Your DS is perfect!

hmmm. My son weighed 11lb8oz at his 11week visit 2 weeks ago. The dr. said that was 50% so i wasn't worried but after reading that post i was a little concerned. He was born 12/17 at 8lb7oz. He can't be more than 12lb now cause he still fits into size 1 diapers! I figure we are saving our backs for longer!

I didn't see your post. My DS was 8lbs2oz at birth on 12/21 and 12lbs2oz at 12 weeks. He's still in size 1 diapers too. We go back for our official 3 month visit next week.

DD was 15 lbs 11 oz at her 3 month appointment but the doctor said she definitely gained more weight than average and is on the larger side. You can't really compare babies because it depends on what weight they were born at. DD was born 8 lbs 5 oz so she started off big.

Mine were about 6 weeks early but my girls were around 10 and 10 and 1/2 lbs at that age. They are almost 6 months and Sydney is just at 13 lbs. Dont worry

I have a string bean....actually I've had two so far....dd#1 was 15 lbs at one yr....dd#2 (we kid, our "chunker" compared to dd#1) is now 17lbs 9 oz at 9 months...and she was 8 lbs 13 oz at birth!  as long as you know your dc is happy, forget anyone else making you nuts!

kyle was 75% weight, 50% heigh for the first few months then switched over 50% weight 75% height - i think around 5 or 6 months cause of the change with eating babyfood the 9 oz bottles i was feeding him got cut down.
