How much food of each would you order??
We're having a party w/46 people and heres what I want:
Hero (how long?)
Penne Vodka
Chicken dish
eggplant Parm
shrimp & clams oreganata
a lettuce salad
a mac salad
what do I get 1/2 trays of, and what do I get full trays of?? I have no idea!!

i think everyone will have some penne and chicken on their plate - each tray feeds about 20 ppl - so i would get 2 trays of those items and 1 tray of everything else you mentioned.
maybe a 5' hero

Depends on how bug the trays are. I would ask the place you are getting it from. Some serve around 20 and others 30-40. When I orginally was placing my order for DD's Christening from our caterer, I was totally ordering too much - her trays serve 30-40!

I just had a party for about 50 adults for DD first birthday.
I ordered:
1 1/2 trays penne vodka
1 1/2 trays chicken
1 tray eggplant rollatini
1 tray shell steak
1 tray of salad
It was the perfect amount of food and we had leftovers!
Def work with your caterer though because the size of trays do vary

on the menu the large tray says it serves 15-20
