How much is everyone spending on bedding (poll)
I am having a really hard time finding a bedding set for DD that both me and DH like. We both agree that we want bright colors vibrant colors and not babish. I just went on Poshtots.com and was that mistake. I found one that I absoultely love and I think DH would like it too but I can't see spending a small fourtune on it.

The bedding that I am getting for DD is kind of pricey. I am getting it from www.spoilthebaby.com

Have you checked out Pottery Barn Kids? Their bedding is definitely not too babyish and IMO, really nice and classy! (I got mine from there, and I believe it was under $200 for the bumper, bed skirt, duvet cover, and 3 sets of sheets)

We did butterflies for my DD and I got the set from target. Everyone loves her set and can't believe that all the pieces cost less than the price of the ones at BRU.
For DS we also got a target set.

Mine came out to over $300...but that's bc I had to complete the set by bidding for it on e-bay since it was sold out in Pottery Barn.

I can't see spending in the upper end...$400+ when the baby will get slober and all kinds of other ickies on the stuff. Plus you need lots of extra fitted sheets. But some of the expensive stuff is beautiful. If you have the extra money, do what you will make you happy.

Re: How much is everyone spending on bedding (poll)
we went with classic pooh from target, i got a great sale on it back in january so i got the 4 piece bedding, a nightlight, 2 lamps, a rug, baskets, extra sheets, 2 curtain sheers, and dust ruffle for like $125, it would have been easily another $100-150 if i hadnt gotten it on sale so i lucked out. I just couldmt see spending $150-200 on a only 4 piece bedding set at BRU or BBB (everythign else there is extra), esp when most of the people i know barely use the blanket, etc.

My sister got great bedding from JC Penney. I know Sears has cute stuff. You can try the pottery barn outlet and overstock has nursery bedding. Don't forget you can't put the quilt in with the baby so thats sort of a waste unless you will use it as decoration
