How Much Should It Cost? (Hair)

to get roots done?
it would be double process.

i need my roots bleached out then the red dumped on them.

how much do you think this should cost?

i got quoted $90 (and thats wh=ith a "break" in the price)

i just cant justify paying $100 for half an inch of hair to get colored!!!

anyone know how much it should be? or is $90 about right?

seriously, 90 is right. Its pathetic but it is. Unless you go to a cheap salon but then you dont know that they will do it right. I had a cheap place do my color once and had it turn green. I would pay the price. Also, maybe you could have them do the base a little darker so you dont have to pay the double process fee, thats up to you. Just keep in mind...the 90 will be like every 4-6 weeks.

i just got my highlites done yesterday- whole head, highlites and low lights (oh jess- they put in some chunks of Chocolate too!!, but i digress...) Chat Icon anyway, it only cost me $90 for them (and then more for the haircut). so for roots- i think thats Alot.
at the place that i used to go to (and they were definitely on the pricey end)- i think even there, roots were still only about $40

Re: How Much Should It Cost? (Hair)

I just went to the salon yesterday. I paid around $100 for a single process and gloss. That was around $50 less then I was paying at another salon. I think it just depends on where you are going.

Re: How Much Should It Cost? (Hair)

well the thing is that i REALLY only need someone to bleach out my roots. i have the red that i use!!!!!
they dont have to mix it, i physically ahvea bottle of what i use. its easy. you just dump it on and leave it for a little bit. then wash it out.

its the bleaching of the roots that worries me... im just afraid to do it myself.

Glosses can be used just to give your hair shine and a boost in the color. Yesterday I had my roots touched up and the rest of my hair just glossed with an all natural vegetable dye. I have that done every other trip instead of the full head single process because it is better for your hair.

that's awesome. i never heard of a Gloss before Chat Icon but the thing i hate about my hair is when the color starts to look dull. i'll have to look into getting a gloss next time!
thank you Chat Icon

i ended up getting light blonde (almost an ash blonde color) highlites with chocolate lowlights. it doesnt look drastic, but it got rid of that brasiness color that i had going on (and i had it angled around my face, and added some layers in the back so that it doesnt look so BLAH). i'll try to post pics later, but i look liek Sh!t right now, so i'm not making any promises Chat Icon

thanks for asking Chat Icon
