how much $ to charge for SAT tutoring?
how much $ should my friend charge this family for SAT tutoring? She gets (are you ready for this???) $90/hr with the family regularly for regular 8th gr tutoring. I have no idea... I feel like SAT should be more than regular, but on the same note, she's getting so much already. I want her to say $125 since money's no issue. Is that greedy? What do you think?

I tutored a student from an affluent area last year, and I ended up charging 125 a session.

I've never heard of an SAT tutor charging anything less than $125 for an hour.
AP tutoring is similarly priced.
We have a teacher in my building out on maternity leave who decided to quit because she does SAT tutoring. She can stay home all day with DS, work from about 4-8 and make almost $500 a night.
Only problem is... no benefits and no pension
