how much to tip for haircut?
How much would you tip for a $50 haircut?
Also...how much do you tip the girl who washes your hair?

Mine costs the same. I give $10, usually.... and $1 to the girl who washes... but now that I am typing this, I feel unreasonably cheap for what I tip the washing lady

I give $10 if it's just a cut..today I had a dye job and a trim with blowout..I gave $12..I usually give $2 to the hairwasher...

I tip 20% of whatever the total cost is. I usually give the assistant/shampoo person $5.

Pretty much the same except I give the colorist $10 as well (haircut and color costs $50 each at my place). I only get a single process, but my hairdresser always blows out my very thick and curly hair...so sometimes I'll even give him more than $10. Shampoo guy/gal...at least $3.

Also for a cut I usually come washed already. I just don't love others washing my hair. With color I have to.

This is usually what I do. I got my hair highlighted and cut on Saturday. I didn't realize until I read this that I forgot to tip the girl who washed my hair.
