How much water??

I leave my dog with ample water through out the day. My questions is, how much water at night should i leave out for him?

We leave out a full bowl before we go to bed. The dogs almost never touch it but at this point, they can hold it overnight if they had to.

I always leave a full bowl of water out at all times especially in the summer when it is hot. If it is a puppy you are trying to house break, you may not want to give water about an hour before you go to sleep.

A 1 yr old dog is pretty much considered an adult but if he/she is still having accidents, I would take the water bowl away an hour before you take the dog out for the last time for the night. If it is very hot out, you can give him an ice cube or two to chew on, that isnt too much water.
