How much work is it to become a fitness instructor?
Does anyone here have their certification?
Is it an investment as well? Is it different types of certifications for different type of instruction or is it all the same? How many hours do you put into it?

It depends on what you want to certify in. I am a certified spin instructor. I had to go for an orientation day which was pretty much all day and then take a written exam. The certification courses differ based on what it is you are certifying in! HTH!

It depends on what you want to instruct. Each area of fitness has it's own certification, and some are more time intensive than others.
I have a ton of certs, for personal training and group fitness. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask!

I was AFAA certified for years (I let it lapse when pregnant and am now pursuing it again) - I would start with the primary cert, see what you want to do - you can always add more certs ontop of it - you need to anyway for CEU's....
