How much would you say you spend...
monthly on expenses (food shopping, gas, clothes, spending $$)
Basically everything BUT the household bills...

Lots.
mostly on food.
we're fatties 
all that stuff is relative though- honestly, you can spend as much or as little as you want- all depends on your tastes.

Probably 1k a month between the two of us. Way too much!!!
Mostly on eating out, and clothes.

Yeah, I am embarrassed to say we probably spend some of the above numbers in an average week. Maybe about 900 or so a week- all out.

I have no idea either! I guess if $$ ever gets tight, I'll start actually keeping track of it. We don't throw $ around (DH brings his lunch to work, my company pays for mine, DH carpools, etc.) so right now it's not a concern.

I have no clue- and it varies by month
Gas is our main expense- plus ezpass for me- probably close to $800 total - $70 a week in gas times 2 cars, plus $200 for ezpass -I need to job back on LI
eating out/take out- not as much as we used to - $200-$400
clothes- anywhere from $0 to this month I spent $300- I hardly spend anything like I used too
Food Shopping- $300 for the month
Spending money- about $200 cash for me- I use my Amex and by Debit card- DH uses his Amex (for gas and other expenses) but I do not keep track of what he is spending- as long as all the other bills are paid and we put some away- he takes what he needs when he gets paid and gives me the rest (comission - not a set amount)

probably about 1k. eh, maybe less, maybe about $800. we don't really eat out much and neither of us need new clothes.

Depends on the month. Last 2 months we spent more because we did work on the house and had family here plus we're buying baby some baby gear. This month will be a saving month, so we are spending much less. Its really dependent on our goals and the what's going on for us.

We used to spend a lot more in NY but now that we are in VA its less. We don't eat out as much as we used to b/c the choices are not that great. I don't make as much at I used to so I don't shop as much. We spent $170 on food etc today & I spend about $40 on gas a week. DH has co car. He doesnt have to pay for gas, car payment or car ins. I just paid of my car & ins is $50. (In NY it was $115)
