How Often Do You Bathe Your Newborn?
I have been bathing her every other day, and wasn't sure if it's too much or too little. I don't remember how often I bathed DS at this age.

In the beginning, every other day is fine. You don't want to dry out their skin by removing their natural oils.

In the beginning I only bathed DD once or twice a week. Her skin got dry very easily and she HATED the bath in the beginning.

She only got sponge bath's until she was 5 weeks because her umbilical cord didn't fall off until then - but I wiped her down everyday. Once she started taking baths I did them everyday because it calmed her down alot. She really liked it. But I put lots of lotion on her afterwards.

My dd is 7 weeks and I have been bathing her almost every day b/c its part of the bedtime routine that has been working for us. I only wash her hair every other night or so.

when DD was a newborn - she would get a bathe every other day or 2 days.

Every other day, but ever since the great poop incident, I am hesitant to get him back in the tub until he can control his bowels... only, what - 3 more years to go???

few times a week--Jake's skin is mad dry...

We are still doing sponge baths here bc Christopher still has his umbilical cord, but our ped's office and the hospital were adament about doing it every day.
But I do it every other day, he doesn't like them (and I can't blame him)
