How often do you feel the baby at
19 weeks. I was told I have an anterior placenta so it might take me longer but for the last few days I have felt him alot and then yesterday I dont think I felt him at all. Is that normal?

I personally didn't feel our little girl until about 21 weeks. Now that I know what she feels like moving and kicking, I am sure I felt her sooner and didn't know what it was.
I feel her constantly now though!

Re: How often do you feel the baby at
It's normal. I have an anterior placenta and the movements were very sporadic and light. It wasn't until my early 20s that I felt stronger and more consistent movement. Even now at almost 27 weeks I still have hours where I don't feel much and then all of a sudden there's an explosion of movement!
Did you try drinking a cold glass of juice and lying on your side to see if you feel anything?

Re: How often do you feel the baby at
I also have an anterior placenta & never felt flutters. I had 1 or 2 kicks during week 20, but didn't really notice them regularly until about week 21. Even now at 26w they're still pretty sporadic & I can go hours without feeling anything...and just when I start to get nervous he'll kick the heck outta me!
I had a sono a few weeks ago because I was on meds & had noticed decreased movement - well during the sono he was a wiggle worm! Kicking up a storm & flailing his arms...I just didn't feel it because of my placenta. It stinks sometimes
