How often do you go for foil highlights touch-ups
I just had my hair foil highlighted the 1st week in April and I need it done again. I have dirty blond hair and get blonde hi-lights.
Is every 3 months normal? Or am I going to a sucky place?

i WISH i could last 3 months! it does depend on your root color...i think 3 months is more than acceptable  i have to go every 5 weeks, and by then my roots are

I used to get them touched-up every 3 months...it also depends how fast your hair grows. Thank God I'm done with highlights...I went darker and I love it.

its been exactly 8 weeks for me today and i need a touch up, but im going to wait...since I dont have the disposbalbe cash to spend right now.

Normal- totally.
My roots start showing bad after 3 months....
It has more to do with the rate your hair grows...basically it's just growing out...
This is one reason I can't stand highlights- the maintainence on them is ridiculous- costs me a fortune...

I just made an appt and when I go, it will be exactly 10 weeks.
Usually about 8 weeks I start to notice my roots coming in.
The longest I've waited was 12 weeks.

I go every 4 weeks to 5 weeks...
I get roots and a crown highlight..

every 6 weeks or so. I am going to try to phase them out. I love how they look, but it takes so much time. It used to be fun, now it feels like a job!
