how often does your dc stay up past normal bedtime ( i mean way past) and how do they act the next day?

I am not talking 15-30 minutes after normal bedtime i am talking like three hours. DD went with my dh to his aunts last night didnt get home until almost 11 and was up at 630.she was a NIGHTMARE today. She did calm down but fell asleep in the car at 900 whcih she never does that early. she has now been napping for almost 2 hours with no sign of her waking.

mikayla will stay up late MAYBE once every other month

she normally goes down at 7:30...the other night, she was up until 9:30, she still wakes up at the same time in the am and takes a longer nap in the afternoon

We have no bedtime with Andrew. He goes with the flow. We are out so much during the week and weekends that he has learned to just stay up until whenever. But he will always wake up around the same time. Sometimes he is crankier then usual the next day depending on how much activity he was doing the night before. Then he will take a long nap that day.

Julia co-sleeps with us still so she doesn't go to bed till 10-11 at night, but she sleps late every morning till like 10 am. She's been doing this for 3 years though.....
