How old/big was your DC when you retired the swing

I'm not sure how many pounds the swing can hold - but I imagine that Jack is getting to the limit.

My only problem is this is where I have him take his morning nap.

When did you get rid of the swing? How many months and/or pounds was your DC?

My DD was about 6 months old. She figured out how to grab the bar and stop it. Chat Icon

LOL -- this is my big problem!

My son is 16 months old and still LOVES his swing and it is the only place he will nap. I do not know what I will do without it.

Do you have the Fisher Price Ocean Wonders Swing? If so, I know for a fact it holds them up to 25lbs. In fact, 2 weeks ago at his dr visit the dr announced he was 23.1 lbs and I actually said out loud Thank God, he can gain another 2lbs before I have to worry about it!

So, sorry I am not much help as to what to do but figured I would let you know the weight limit.

Good Luck!

Somewhere around 14 months. I caught DD climbing in and out of the swing on her own, so that pretty much sealed the deal for me! Chat Icon

Around 7 months. We didn't use it much anyway so it was easy just to put it away and make room for more toys.
