How old is too old for tooth fairy?
DD is 9 starting 5th grade. She still expects money and I keep forgetting lol.
I'm sure she knows it's me!

Re: How old is too old for tooth fairy?
My parents kept it up for all of my teeth, but I suspect that was due in part to having younger siblings. Since they did it for me, they kept it up for my younger brothers too. I have two kids. I plan on keeping it up for both of them. But I don't give an allowance. If your finances don't permit it, then I would have an honest discussion with your dc.

How old is too old for tooth fairy?
My DS lost his last baby tooth when he was nine so we had no problems.
My friend tells her kids "you must believe to receive" - they know its her but want the money so they say they believe.

My child is 8 and in 3rd. As long as she asks if the tooth fairy is coming, she will come. We only give $1-2 a tooth so it isn't an inconvenience.

M son is in 5th grade and I'm sure he'll put his teeth under his pillow even though he doesn't really believe or questions it all still. He has a lot of teeth to loose still.

I would say by then they know. My dh is in 7th and still losing teeth. We usually just put it under his pillow as a game now but the other day I just handed him $2 as we forgot lol.

Re: How old is too old for tooth fairy?
my DD is in 6th grade. She knows, but we still do it. She has 4 more to lose, so we will keep it up until the gone.
