my boys are getting them in 2 weeks when they turn 6 months.. they can't get it before that.
the pediatrician is all for the flu shot for them.

15 months, and he got the first shot last month, and will get the next one next month. Not in daycare, but I firmly believe that the benefits outweigh the risks. And everyone in my family is getting it b/c my mom is undergoing chemo and has a compromised immune system.

DS got his at his 6 month check up a few weeks ago.

DS is 13 months & will be getting the flue shot on Wednesday. I know it is imperative for him to have it especially with having his brother only at 3 months old & a preemie. Plus DH works in NYC & is on the subways all the time. I would HATE for him to be carrying a germ & then pass it to DS!
My other DS will most likely be getting it in January when he is 6 months old

DS is 7 months and I'm not planning on it. Actually he was at the Ped today for his 3rd round of vaccines and no one even mentioned it or suggested it.

DD is 3, yes.
DS is 10 months, yes. I debated on him but he gets sick so often, I think we need to get it for him.

Ann got hers at her 15 month appt last Saturday. She also got it last year, I guess at her 6 month well visit.

My reason is that Abby, when in day care (shes home with me while Im on maternity leave) contracts every virus known to man. She is out for days and she gets very run down. Its rather sad.
In addition, both DH and I take many personal days to stay home with her. On top of that we have to pray WE don't get sick and are forced to stay home to get well ourselves. It can and does become financial. It sounds cold, but its the truth. I refuse to send her into daycare sick.

3 and 2 and yes. They've gotten their flu shots as soon as they were old enough and it was available. Mads got it when she was 6 months old.
They'll both be getting flu shots next week.
