I think that is an appropriate age to bring them. We plan on going next summer when DS will be 20 months.

Re: How old was DC first visit to Sesame Place??
My younger DD is 15 mos and I went last week with her and my older DD who will be 3 next month.
Honestly, I wouldn't have gone with only my younger DD--I don't think it's worth it. Yeah, she went on the merry-go-round and the "balloon drop" thing but she didn't appreciate it. Also, she's totally insane and tried to get off the whole time which was really stressful! I would not have ridden with her through the lazy river for all the money in the world! Otherwise, I guess she splashed around in the little pool--but I didn't need to drive 2 hours for her to do that. Lastly, we went with my sister, BIL and their kids (ages 6 and 3) and because Abby couldn't do much, someone always had to stay behind with her.
Now, having said that, we had a very nice time, but definitely more so because of my older DD. I hope to make it back next year. I think age 2 is more appropriate as a starting point.

We are taking DD when she is 3...I think that will be a perfect age for her to enjoy all of it...and maybe even remember something from the trip
