How soon can you travel with an infant?
My parents have invited my DH and I plus new baby hopefully on their yearly trip to Mexico. It is only a 2 hour flight from LA where we live. If the baby is born around her due date, she will be a month and a half old. Is that too soon to travel?

I don't think so. We flew with Alex from Ireland when he was 8 weeks old.

Thanks so much! I really want to go on this trip and was concerned about immunizations and getting a passport for her in time.

Hey Chris! Just lurkin around! Just bring LOTS of water with you because you don't want to give her the water in Mexico.

I think it would be fine to travel but you might want to check with your ped. about bringing a newborn into a foreign country.
IMO you have so much control over the baby and who it's around and what it touches that I wouldn't see a problem but it's best to get a professional opinion.
