How soon in advance do you send out your party invites?
Wondering how early some of us are or late  ....
I send my invites 4 weeks prior to the rsvp date so really 5 weeks of notification to the event day (my rsvp date is always 1 week before the party date). I did have someone tell me I send them out way too soon lol. I have such a huge family and everyone gets so busy fast I think giving an early heads up helps everyone plan. How does everyone else feel about that, when do you send yours out? Do you think 5 weeks is way too early?

i went nuts. DS's party is 10/16. invitations went in the mail today and the rsvp date is 9/25.

DD's went out about 3 weeks prior to the RSVP date which was 9/6.

DS's 1st bday is going to be 1/8 and we are sending out the invites on Black Friday (11/26) with an RSVP date of 12/20

Uhm, DS's party is the 26th, the RSVP is the 16th and the invites were dropped in the mail today...its a kiddie party though, you can either make it or you don't.
