how strange my avatar was finally changed took so long
I changed it sometime last week or the week before, but it wouldn't come up on my profile. I forgot all about it . I just signed on and my avatar was different and I'm thinking heeyy that's not my avatar,LOL.
I am getting old

it was your computer bringing up its cache memory. it was always changed on this end!

It still was the old avatar on my PC until just now. To force a refresh, hold the <SHIFT> key, then click on the refresh button. That forces the browser to go to the server and replace everything. Usually, it tries to be "helpful" and whatever it thinks hasn't changed, it doesn't download again. If the avatar is roughly the same size (which it usually is), it thinks it hasn't changed, so it won't update it.

LOL. if I didn't know any better I would think my husband wrote this. You must know A LOT about computers

LOL. if I didn't know any better I would think my husband wrote this. You must know A LOT about computers
.... enough to get myself out of most of the problems I cause....
