how supportive is your DH

when it comes to the whole TTC thing? I think at times he gets frustrated because in a way it has become so (scientific as I say) with the OPK and temp taking. I try to make him feel that way, but at times I feel like I am the one that is trying harder at this.

I can totally relate. he wants a baby, he really does. but I am definitely taking this more seriously than he is, and it's frustrating!

Re: how supportive is your DH

Previously, my DH was the same way until most recently. One day, I couldn't take it anymore. I had an emotional breakdown and I let him have it. He sincerely apologized and he asked me to give him all the information about our TTC issues and protocols so that he could better informed and understand what is going on.

On my part, I try not to let TTC be the only topic of conversation. But, it does come up often. Chat Icon

When I was previously using the OPK kit, I wouldn't tell him we were BD only because we had a surge.

I am sure your DH will come around. Chat Icon

I think he (my DH) will become more excited when there is actually something growing in there. I think that most men dont realize how scientific it really is.

He does want to have a baby, but he doesn't want to know anything about temping, charting, etc... He wants it to happen "naturally" (I think he means without trying to make it happen.) But I think that it's because he doesn't want BD to become mechanical, not because he doesn't care about what I am doing.
