My DS just had his 3rd year dr visit and he is 39 inches. He was 36 1/4 inches at his 2 yr.

And if it helps, my older son was 36 inches at 2 yrs and 40 inches at 3 years.

Actually, he was 37 inches Chat Icon But I think you're right. He's probably be around 42 inches.

I was shopping the Hanna sale and size 100 goes up to 42 inches. I'm thinking I should be safe with that. Last year I bought size 100 and it's too big for this summer. And their sizing is so generous that too big can really be too big.

I dont know if this will help you....

But generally kids grow about 10-12 inches their first year...

4-5 inches their second year...

and 3-4 inches their 3rd year...

So if he is 37 inches now..he will be 41 inches at his 3 year appointment.

Ive found this to be pretty much true for my kids...

My eldest daughter was 20 inches when she was born...30 inches at a year...34 inches at 2..and 37 inches at 3

The twins were 18 inches when they were born...28 inches at a year...32 inches at 2 and 35 inches at 3

Thanks. That does help. (Tried finding something like this through google and no luck.) And so far we're on target with this too. (12 inches through year 1, 4 through year two.) So if we're on the higher end of the scale, 41 inches it will be Chat Icon
