How tall should the boots be...
to wear over jeans? I just cant get it to look good w/ my boots bc i look like friggin state trooper

IMO, they should be higher than mid-calf but below the knee.
which boots are you trying to wear over your jeans? if they aren't wide enough you can definitely get that state trooper look...
