I applied to private schools individually and to the Rokville Diocese for a Catholic School position.

Re: How to apply for Non-Public Schools
you can apply directly through the Diocese of Rockville Centre for jobs at Catholic schools in Nassau and Suffolk.
www.drvc.org
Diocese of Brooklyn covers Brooklyn and Queens Archdiocese of NY covers Manhattan, Staten Island, Bronx and Westchester.
