How to deal with Boss who was just diagnosed with Breast cancer and in her lymphnodes!!
Sorry for wrong spelling so upset right now. Just found out my boss who I am really close with just got diagnosed with both!! So hard to deal with right now.
I feel so helpless she has a little girl 4 years old.
What can I do??
Life isn't fair sometimes!!!

awww, that's so hard! maybe make some meals for her or offer to babysit the child if she has to go to chemo or any appts?

I agree. And just be there for her, and offer a strong support system. It is so important when healing to have a strong and hopeful support system.

be careful on making the meals until you find out mlre info on her particular cancer. My friend Laura, who has breast and bone cancer, has a VERY strict diet and she needs to check every lable and make sure she doesn't take in hormones. Some ideas that were offered our way were bebysitting, landscapers weekly and a housekeeper weekly.
Those things really helped because chemo realllllly tires you out.

My boss's wife, who is also a very good friend, was diagnosed five years ago and had to have a full mastectomy and chemo.
I just tried to be there for her. Asked how she was doing, offered to stay with the kids while she and her DH went to Drs., treatments, etc.
The housecleaning is a great idea if she doesn't already have one.
Most importantly, be there for her.
Good luck to her - thankfully, nowadays Breast Cancer is highly treatable and if they catch it early she has an excellent chance of survival.

My mom had in lymphnodes when she was diagnosed and had spread all over.. On what to do-- just be there for her.. listen to her and be by her side, shes going to need all the support she can get...
