How to dress baby coming home from hospital?
I'm due in March. I have the bundle me attachement for the carseats, but wonder how I'm supposed to dress them to come home. Because of the umbilical cord, do I have to put something other than a onesie on them? I was going to put a onesie, socks and a little outfit on each of the babies, put them in the carseat and then a blanket over the entire carseat once they are in the car.
Also, did you use the shirts with the mittens attached to it? Where would I get them? I don't have any mittens, and was told not to use them by the Baby Care instructor (choking hazard).

With all of my children I had onesies on them along with their outfit (usually something comfy - cotton) socks, hat, and their snow suit jacket. I also had a blanket for my Dec & Feb babies. I never used the mittens and re the umbillical cord you just fold the diaper a little lower so it's not over it.
