How to dye an article of clothing
Not sure which forum this belongs in...
I purchased a sweater coat online that I thought was an off white color..turns out its a stark white and not what I was looking for even though I love the sweater
Has anyone ever dyed something using that RIT stuff from the grocery store?
Will it be a huge mess?

Re: How to dye an article of clothing
My mom has done it a few times. She has a big huge utility sink in her laundry room that she does it in. She actually puts a bucket in the sink and does the dying in the bucket. Pours it out right into the sink. Rinses it as well as she can, then washes it seperately a few times.
