how $$ to finish a basement?
anyone paid someone else to do a basement? about how much would it cost? by sqft?

It really depends on what you want to do.
If you're just sheet rocking and painting and laying down some carpet, that would be cheaper than if you were doing something more complex like adding a bathroom or kitchen and high hats, etc.
It's really hard to say unless you know for sure that you're comparing apples to apples.

it really depends I think our basements was less then $5000, but dh all the work himself, except for the electrical, which his friend did, since thats his trade
