how to get clear nail polish off hardwood floor?
i broke a whole bottle of clear polish on my new hardwood floor!!!
i wiped it as well as i could and also with a little water.
i can still see a bit here and there and its dry now...but afraid to use np remover and dull floor finish!!! any rec's?? blah!

DO NOT use Nail Polish Remover with Acetone in it at all. I would get a bottle of non-acetone and test it out in an inconspicuous area. I will not be held liable for this suggestion lol just what I would personally do. Did you google it?

I would NOT do this - even non-acetone can remove the finish.

perhaps it can be sanded and refinished in just that area? i would leave it to a professional

I spilled wax on the hardwood floor once. I let it dry and then took a credit card and scraped it off.

Non-acetone will defiitely still remove the finish. As I learned when I set my cotton ball with non-acetone np remover on my nice new nightstand.

I hate to tell you but I think you are stuck with it aside from sanding and refinishing yoru floor in that spot.
