how to help hair breakage

So I cut and highlighted my hair recently and I really like it, but I guess I had some breakage from the highlighting and everytime I do my hair I have these pieces fllying all over the place and standing straight up.

No amount of hairspray or smoothing cream has helped me out.

Anyone have this problem or know a way to fix it? I feel like its the only thing people see when they look at me lol

BTW here is a pic of the new me, you like?

Re: how to help hair breakage

Your hair looks great! I wish I could help you out, but I have the exact same problem as you. I just recently started taking Biotin, which is supposedly good for your hair and nails, so we shall see if that helps any. I would love to know if there is a miracle product out there too, bc I haven't found yet and I've tried a lot of stuff!

I always get this from Highlights. My colorist recommended Aveda Damage Remedy Shampoo and Conditioner and It's a 10 leave in treatment. It has made a significant difference. I have also been using Moroccan Oil treatments a few times a week as well. I spend a lot on hair products but in my opinion it is money well spent. HTH.

I love your hair btw!

Chi Iron Guard is my secret weapon. I spray my hair with it whenever I use my flatiron, and spritz a little more on as a finishing touch.
