How to make grout in the shower WHITE again?
Aside from re-grouting it, what can I do?

BLEACH PEN. let it sit, then scrub with a grout brush (can buy it at walmart, home depot, or maybe even the supermarket - it's thin and it's very hard), let sit again, then scrub.
I used to do it every 6 months in my apartment (hexagon tiled floor, lots of grout lines).
It took me three attempts in my new house, but my all-white bathroom has white grout lines again!

The magic eraser combo'ed with the bleach pen should kill it! I use the magic eraser with shower cleaner and my shower literally SPARKLES when I'm done.

Muratic Acid.
Can find it in Ace Hardware.
It is so frigging potent - def wear a mask when cleaning with it.
I had a mildew problem in our shower - nothing - not even straight bleach would clean.
Got some muriatic acid - a gallon of it (only size I could find) - dipped an old toothbrush in it, scrubbed grout, rinse, repeat.
It stunk to high heaven and I wouldn't use around kids or animals but boy was it awesome. Scouts honor. I tried EVERYTHING. It will eat the grout so don't leave it on or anything. Just dip, scrub, rinse.

It worked! I just sprayed it on, left it for a few minutes and didn't even really need to scrub. Yay!

I am sick of bleaching the grout in my bathroom, so I said screw it. I am having a new bathroom put in next month.
