How to remove a GIANT cystic inside pimple

Please help, and fast!

Its taking over my face!
Its literally the size of a quarter under my skin, but my cheek is red and swollen. Its really gotta go!

I've tried:
tea-tree oil
a product that contains benzoyl peroxide
a jurlique mud masque
toothpaste!

Now I'm stuck...
MIL is telling me to put BoilEase on it, but I'm afraid to!

HELP ME PLEASE!!! I just want my face back

Yikes, careful you dont want to scar your face. I am with you I would picking and poking at it I hate having anythng on my face. Did you try hot water compresses?

try keeping a hot washcloth on it for a while to see if it comes to a head

Although, I've found the best thing is to go to the dermatologist and get a cortisone shot

Go to the derm tomorrow and have them inject it and then treat it. Don't handle this yourself. If you already did some damage put Neosporin on it...that's it.

I'm being reallllly good and not touching it - no picking, squeezing, etc.

And yes, sorry, i forget to mention the hot washcloth. That was the first thing I did.

I always get a cystic inside pimple around , but never this big, and never for more than a day!

And man - these suckas hurt!

No damage done - there is no broken skin, just a lump in my face.

Don't touch it!! As someone else said above, your best bet is to call the dermatologist and get a shot - that's what I do, and it really helps!!! Good luck! (I know exactly how you feel!!)

My only suggestion would have been the hot compress on and off. That usually takes more than one day to bring something to a head though. I would really see a doc about it if it happens so regularly

I wouldn't do the cortisone shot. My sister used to get them all the time when she had bad acne and it worked for her. But I got it once and I still have a scare on my face from it.

You just don't know how you will react to it.

Take an aspirin, ground it up add just enough water to make a paste and apply it to the cyst. Should ease the swelling and redness in about 10-15 mins

If it's a cyst the longer it is there, the more damage it is causing to underlying skin, hence it could leave a scar when it does heal. The cortisone shot will not leave a scar it will get rid of the cyst. For the above poster who reports they got the scar from the shot, it was actually from the cyst.

I get them once a month (always AF time), but none of them have ever scarred...

I wish the derm was open on Sunday

I used to get them all the time and the only thing that helped was getting an injection from the derm.

Try not to use too many different types of treatment to get rid of it- I have been there, done that and it just makes it worse . . .

Just keep up with the hot compress and something like oxy, or neutrogena on the spot.

Although I never have, I think if you are up for the shot, go for it!

Call the derm for the cortisone shot, it does wonders.
