How to wear a long scarf?

It's not one of those super-skinny ones- it's about 6 inches wide. I wore it the other day and I just kind of tied it once in the middle and let it hang. But it looked kind of matronly. I need some ideas! Thanks! (I though about wrapping it around my neck and letting the ends hang, but it felt too snug)

I think to loosely wrap it around your neck so that it hangs down lower almost like a necklace...

Or if you are using it for warmth in the winter fold it in half, put it around your neck -- and then put the open ends both thru the loop end and pull --- and it'll be wrapped around that way.

i wrap it around my neck (kinda like a choker) and let each end hang down in the front. depending on the scarf, i wear even w/o my coat/jacket on.
