How to word if i want people to dress casual?
So, DS will be having his 1st birthday at a hall, and not becuase I want it there, because we had no other option for the amount of people we are inviting 
Anyway, i want to write on the invitation to dress casual, no need to be fancy as it is a kids 1st birthday and we are really just using the hall due to space. I was thinking of just writing it on the corner of the invite, similiar to wedding invites how they write black tie. What do you think?

How to word if i want people to dress casual?
i don't think there is a need to. we are having it at a hall and i have been to birthday parties at halls and usually know we can wear jeans with a nice top. i don't think people will think they need to "dress up" for a 1st birthday party.

We had ours at a hall and everyone dressed appropriately, from sun dresses to jeans and a top.

I agree with everyone here. Most people will dress pretty casual anyways so I wouldnt stress about it at all!
That being said, you can also just have your mom etc spread the word about keeping it casual. I'll let my side know!
Cannot wait to give Georgie big 1st birthday kisses!!

We have gotten an invite to a birthday party that just indicated on it, "Dress Casual".
